Hi Karl,

I've updated my installation from 0.17 maintenance release to the ultrafast 0.18, followed the update procedure you've written but I notice that my galleries which are sorted by date are completely messed up.

Even changing the sorting to a different method, press "save" and set back to "by date" is *not* giving me back any date related order. That all looks quite random

Is there anything I can further check before I revert back to 0.17?

Got a link? I have tested locally, and date sorting is definitely working. It uses image EXIF date:

For everyone's reference, there seems to be a bug with current EXIF date sorting, possibly depending on how your EXIF tags are formatted. I am currently looking into ...
