in X2 gallery my client liked the fact that the title and description was above each photo they wish to have the same look
in X3, is there a place in the panel to do this or do I use custom css?

You mean like the tooltips above the images on hover?

sorry I may have jumped to conclusion, yes to above the image but the title or description is visible when gallery opens not like a hover.

Thanks Karl, I may have moved or deleted a file because now in my settings panel the page is blank, I am also getting a " teststatus error" pop up when loging into my gallery.

Ok, but is there a question there? If I am to diagnose this, I need a link at least.

I fixed the current issue by deleting and reinstalling the latest version.

But I need some help on a gallery I created, I uploaded sample photos to test and added title and description but I don't see this gallery when I hit "view page" a different gallery appears. Basically all I want is to have a title of the item and in description add a html url for people to click on. Client does not want the image as a hyperlink.

This is a example of the X2 gallery ( see title and url hover example)

The gallery is called 1.Test-Gallery

When you want to create a new page, I suggest you click the "NEW" button instead of renaming existing sample pages. When you renamed "1.index" to "1.Test-Gallery", you are inheriting settings from the index page you renamed, some of which are special. I fixed it:

The setting inherited, was gallery ASSETS, which is used to instruct the page to load images from another folder. I removed it from this page's settings.


I am not sure why you renamed the INDEX folder though. You are aware that you need a folder called either "1.index" or "index" for your start page? This is emphasized clearly when you initially click this item from the panel.
