There is "no-footer" class in your body, which is either 1) You didnt remove when taking out the fullscreen-slideshow, or 2) You have set it from the video plugin to "hide footer". It's one or the other.

Sorry small bug: markdown-rendering requires at least one line-break followed by a character. This will be fixed in next release. In the meantime, you must use normal html link.

You mean for the popup window? Not sure why it's not working for you, I will check locally ... For now, you would need to use custom CSS to force the button to have white text color.

I didn't think this would happen, but I guess it depends on server. Your server changes dates of subfolders when renaming the parent folder apparently. ANYWAY: Why not just add custom DATES for your news posts? This is by far the best way to maintain dates, even when moving/renaming folders.
