let's talk about favicon.

I've created a new one (32x32 px) and put in custom\favicon as favicon.png. I deleted the original one.
but...

I still see the *....
any suggestion?

Clear your browser history- and cache.

If that doesn't work, give me link. It's certainly cache-related if you did in fact replace the file.

I have the same issue, when I replace the favicon icon, and delete the default one, the new icon just turned to the same as the deleted one. I have cleaned cache, I changed it yesterday, but it displays as * in my location.

Sorry, this was related to Cloudflare (CDN) caching. I have purged the cache for this file now, so it loads the updated file: https://xiya.photo.gallery/content/cust ... avicon.png


It may still be cached in your browser though, but it will display correctly for new visitors, and if you view from private browsing window or empty your browser cache.

I don't find the favicon-Setting in the Custom-Section...? Just some fields for custom code: css, js, head or form widget...? Panel -> Settings -> Custom...?

What website is this? If you can't find custom favicon, you must be using a very old X3 version (2+ years) that you did not update.

Favicon has been there since 2 years or so:

:stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes: I was looking in the "Settings" Panel not "Manage"... :O Thanks, everything fine... ;)
