I have a problem when it comes to sharing, showing a different photo you want to share, it is not whether something is a bug or configuration
What it may be due?

If the name of the picture contains a space, fails on facebook.

I am not sure how you are getting even a wrong image to share at all ... unless you have changed filenames. Things can get entangled both with cached images, and Facebook's own sharing cache.

However, as LeiRuM mentions, this specific image does not share at all, because you have spaces in the name:
Image

This is the sharing page:
http://jcarloscruz.com/galerias/bebes/R ... %20Huelva/

As you can see, it does not work because there is an empty SPACE in the filename.
http://jcarloscruz.com/content/2.galeri ... ajes_bebes_ Huelva.jpg
http://jcarloscruz.com/content/2.galeri ... Huelva.jpg (space url-encoded OK)

You really should avoid spaces in filenames. If you need a TITLE, then instead you can use the gallery title+description settings to create titles with spaces (and any other special characters).

Rename the file from Reportajes_bebes_%20Huelva.jpg to Reportajes_bebes_Huelva.jpg, and it will work.

Would this be also the cause for Pinterest to fail with a 404?
I shared pictures via the gallery Pinterest button and all of these shares
result in a 404 no found when Using the "Visit" button from the Pinterest board they are
shared from.
IF I use the "Browser add-on Button" from Pinterest, it does not do a 404, but it also does not
go to the image that is shared, but only displays the folder where the pictures is located.

Can't confirm. Just tried myself, and works fine:

Got a link?

There is a bug with pinterest-share currently in X3 if you try to share the first page you land on. This bug is not related to sharing images though. This is already fixed in a pending release.

I was ready to send a link, but I can assure you that the issue with having spaces in the picture names was the cause of Pinterest
having fits. As soon I changed all file names Pinterest would work either using the gallery share or Pinterest's own browser add on.
Prior to that, the pinned image would show in the Pinterest board with a thumbnail just fine, however, when clicking on the 'Visit' button below the image, it would most often result in a 404 page not found error. Sometimes it would not go to the image at all, but only to the "folder" where the image resided, and just once in a while it would work proper.
Boggled my mind for a day or two...but this conversation here made me go and test a few file names without spaces, which then of course worked flawless.
Given that it's quite labor intensive to change all names / descriptions (as X3 doesn't retain descriptions), it will fix shared image problems, at least for Pinterest / Facebook, which are the ones I encountered.
I didn't encounter the error / bug you mention above, primarily because I didn't try to share a page, only images.

Regarding the spaces, that would be correct ... The problem is that X3 creates virtual pages for each image, and if there are spaces in the image name, it will corrupt the URL. I will need to look into this to see if it can be fixed at all ...
