Im having great trouble trying to work out how to add descrition to an image when doing a vertical Split layout. I understand that the file name provides the heading to the image but how can i add a more detailed description or comment to each image??

please any help or how to would be much apprieciated.

Regardless of what layout you are using (eg "vertical-split"), image titles and descriptions are added from your page gallery section:


You need to click the "view" button (top, 2nd to left) to change the panel gallery view to allow input of titles and descriptions as in the screenshot above.

The filename provides the default title, but TITLE will be used instead of filename if it is populated.
