Prepare the Login/Connection Data with Database

26 Dec 2015, 05:21

I try to install the new x3 Gallery. But how can i use the Database to store the User and Password for the Gallery?

What is the first step to setup the Login and Connection Parameter?

Can you explain the Steps to configure the Parameter prperly?

Best Regards

Glad you solved it. I need to create new documentation for DB-version of the panel. In the meantime, there is some information in the old beta docs:
https://www.photo.gallery/x3docs/setup/panel/ (scroll down to "*Optional Database [Advanced]").

Are you sure you are using the DB version now? Normally, you would need to use the /panel/install/ script after first creating your database.

I go to the database and see the Tables in the Database.

But i see nothing in the config.php after the Setup procedure.

Thats right?

When i logon to /panel under the Settings --> Panel the Login Type Database selected.
The Admin User was not stored in the Database. But the second created User was stored in the Database.

When i try to create the Admin User with the identical Name the Error Message was: The User exist

Yes. All your settings are stored in config.user, and you should never be editing any config/php file.

Sorry, what is the question? I still don't quite understand if it's working or not. You have to run the /INSTALL/ application before the DB-version works ... If I am to diagnose further, I will need a link and preferably login to your admin panel also.

That was not a question.

It was a conclusion.

The first User (Adminuser) was stored on a another Database Table?
I have found the second User i was created in the User Section.
