i have now in the startpage the slideshow ..this is my intro page !
now i want hide the menu point for the slidesow .. you know what i mean ?

the startpage have the name in de menu (start)
this start i want hide only in the menu

... and how do they get to the other pages without the menu?

no, not the menu hide only a point of menü (startpage)

i want see when you start my site the slideshow and the menu only the menu-point startpage i want hide .. the guest see the slideshow only when he open www.xyz.de .. not extra a menu point for this ..

I guess he/she wants to hide the menu on startpage. Only wants the slideshow. If the user then hovers the mouse someplace it will popup the menu.

my english is so bad ;/

it give two ways for view the startpage .. you go to www.xyz.de or you click the menu

i want ony one way for see this ..

my menu:

intro | pics | contact | blog

when i click to intro i jump to startpage and see the slideshow ..

(this is what i like)

| pics | contact | blog

but the first when a user come to my site see every the slidershow but he can not from menu to this ..

If you want to hide this menu item entirely, just rename the folder from "1.index" to "index" ... that is how you hide pages from the menu but still keep the pages available. The logo is still clickable and will go to the home page ...

genau, man soll nur durch die adresse www.xyz.de auf die startseite kommen ..es soll keinen seperaten menüpunkt dafür geben.

when i rename from 1.index to index .. the slideshow is every the startpage ? but only the menu point is hide ?

can you not add a option in page setting:

Orginal = menu display "Startpage"
