It was disabled because we were building 3-4 entirely different menu layouts, and we can't just slap the audio player into any menu like a brick. Since we are working on an integrated design here, we need to plan properly how and where to add the audio player UI ... It has to work with all layouts and menus, and also transcend across multiple screen sizes, and possibly also work for small touchscreen devices.
