I just installed the latest X3 build... resolved the mod rewrite issue and X3 is up and running. You can view it here:

I have also uploaded my updated config.php file and set recommended permissions on the directories/files mentioned in the documentation.

When I log into the panel test.merelyafleshwound.com/panel I get a blank white screen in the browser.

I know I have entered the correct credentials because I tested entering the wrong ones and the login fails.

Please let me know what the next steps should be to resolve this.

Can you just check one thing for me ... which of the following files do you under the /panel/ folder: Just one of them or both?

Also, was the panel working earlier in your previous setup on same server? Can you try with another browser, as it could be session- or cache related ...

I do NOT have filemanager_config.php

I DO have config.php

My admin panel in X2 works fine on the same server that I have X3 installed on.

I have tried this using the latest revisions of Chrome and Firefox on a Window7 machine.
I have cleared my cache.

yep ... X2 is unrelated though. But you didn't have the new panel working at all earlier? What is the link?

Can you PM me the login for your panel? Is it DB or non-DB?

no database
pm sent (which seems to be sitting in the outbox vs. The sent box)

Result = Mcrypt is required by the X3 control panel to encrypt data

Mcrypt installed and panel is now working!
