mp3 available?
can I drop a mp3-file to my site? whenever I try that I get this error: "Fehler SyntaxError: JSON.parse: unexpected end of data at line 1 column 1 of the JSON data"

somehow I already got it made via content > custom > audio ;-)

It should be possible to upload mp3 files, but perhaps you get an error for other reasons like file size or something else? When you upload mp3 content > custom > audio, it becomes part of the audio player playlist. Glad you solved it.
