Looking for a way to display subfolders

25 Sep 2020, 15:39

If I have multiple subfolders with image inside, in the parent folder, can I display each the thumbnails of each subfolders individually?
Like
[ ] [ ] [ ] [ ] [ ] [ ] [ ] [ ] [ ]  <- subfolder 1
[ ] [ ] [ ] [ ] [ ] [ ] [ ] [ ] [ ]  <- subfolder 2
[ ] [ ] [ ] [ ] [ ] [ ] [ ] [ ] [ ]  <- subfolder 3

If I am unclear, let me know and I provide screenshots of the question.
Kind regards,
Haider

Hi Haider. Unfortunately, X3 cannot display galleries from multiple subfolders in one parent page. X3 can only list the subfolders of the page, with preview images. This might be possible in a future version ...

Thank you

Is there another way of displaying _different_ galleries in on page?
Kind regards,
Haider

You can assign a different gallery/folder as the source for the page's own gallery, but you cannot include multiple galleries in a single page.

The only way to do that, would be to manually add images into the content section of the page, but that is not automated and would be very tedious.

This is not currently an option in X3. I will consider it for a future release!

I'm trying to express using carousel in the content, so please tell me how to crop the carousel image size regularly.

You mean you have a carousel in your custom content and you want uniform, cropped images? Do you have a link? That could be done with the X3 resizer, for example square 640 px image:
/render/w640-c1.1/examples/assets/bubbles.jpg

Just replace /content/ with /render/w640-c1.1/. Here is the original:
/content/examples/assets/bubbles.jpg

/render/w640-c1.1/examples/assets/bubbles.jpg
[imgpx = 320] https://demo.photo.gallery/render/w640 -c1.1 / 예 / 자산 / bubbles.jpg [/ imgpx]

그냥 교체 / 내용 //render/w640-c1.1/ . 원본 :
/content/examples/assets/bubbles.jpg

I think you already did it in your second test? To create a uniform carousel, you will need images with identical aspect, and unless they are identical by nature, they need to be cropped.

An original image looks like this:
/content/jeju/2day/jeju-5215525.jpg

Top crop and resize the image, replace /content/ with /render/w640-c3.2/, where w640 represents the width and c.3.2 represents the CROP ratio. For example:
/render/w640-c3.2/jeju/2day/jeju-5215525.jpg

The above creates a 3:2 aspect image. You can choose any aspect, for example 1:1, and you can also change the width, for example:
/render/w320-c1.1/jeju/2day/jeju-5215525.jpg

So, for your carousels to be uniform, you need to include images that are cropped at the same aspect using links like above.

Oh, thank you.

I'll test it
