Could be many reasons. First of all, do you have a link?

Also, does it change at all? Does it even show captions? Are you sure it's a gallery and not folders overview? Hard to answer or diagnose without full context.

You can't delete all caption items including "preview". The point of this section, is to assign items and order, like [title][description][preview] or [preview][title]. If you remove all items there, there would be nothing to display, not even the preview image. What is it that you are trying to achieve? If you tried to do this, it would change back to your page default, which most likely is "preview" item only.

Apart from the above, if you are still having problems, I would need access to diagnose, as I can't say what's wrong simply from a screenshot. It does seem like there might be a logical issue somewhere.

You mean it scrolls up immediately after unclicking it? Or when you click Save button after unclicking it?

I can't imagine why that would be, unless there is some bug. Could you provide panel login so I can try myself and diagnose?

The corrupt image is definitely causing the corrupted layout.

Failure to SAVE is caused by a "500 Internal Server Error", most likely also caused by the corrupted image.


I would suggest simply deleting the corrupted image and then test. I'm not sure how it got corrupted, but that might bw worth diagnosing also, in case it was something related to storage space.

It definitely wasn't helpful that you got that error on save just because of a corrupt image ... The reason that happened, would be because saving, may also involve looping through folder images and extracting or injecting IPTC data (titles, descriptions) into images.
