Question on layout

08 Mar 2016, 17:38

Hello Karl, in my gallery I've a lot of albums (look here for example http://gallery.kog.it/20112015/2015/ ) and they're neatly ordered.

Now I've inserted the first album of 2016 here

http://gallery.kog.it/20162020/2016/

but it appears as a single big image. Is not possible to show it as the other years (see the first link) instead of a big image like in the second link?

Thanks!

It is really the same layout, but you only have a single image inside. You are using the GRID layout, which normally has 3 columns ... Why would it create 3 columns if there is only a single image inside though? That would mean the image would be aligned to the left, and the two other columns are empty ... would look strange, and would not be logical from a technical perspective.

If you have a 3-column layout, and the page only has a single item, it will automatically downsize to a single column.

If you want to adjust the size when you only have a single image, I would try to use the "narrowest" layout for page->gallery perhaps.
