Videos thumbnail - X3.28.0

Hello,
is it possible to have videos in the middle of the photos (with thumbnail), because if I put videos in my folder they are found at the top of my gallery in large format (I use the version X3.28.0)

Hi!
Currently this is not possible, because there is no way for X3 to automatically create thumbnails from videos (it requires a special server extension). Therefore, it is not logical to mix videos into a grid of images ... Videos can only be EMBEDDED on the page, and we can't embed videos into the grid layouts. We are considering alternatives for this, for example creating your own thumbnail jpg for video. Personally, I think mixing videos and images can be confusing for the visitor.

Hello, thank you for your quick response. I wanted to integrate videos because I created a gallery with family photos of my children classified by date. This is why I also wanted to integrate some video sequences (1 to 2 minutes each video).
Congratulations again for the work you are doing and I look forward to testing the final version of "files app" in X3. well done

Thanks. There will be many improvements to both Files app as well as the X3 gallery.
