That isn't related to this release. May I ask, is this a home server? You might to try to upgrade your PHP.

I believe this is related to your xdebug extension. You can change the max_nesting_level value in your xdebug.ini.

GOOD WORK KARL!
Great to see such a comprehensive overview of new features, changes and improvements!
Very happy to see more regarding video!

Can we look forward to a way on remotely loading video content into IV X3? i.e. linking to a video, linking and downloading a video, and uploading a video file.

I look forward to 0.20! :D

Not 100% what you mean, but there is already basic self-hosted video support: You can upload mp4 files into a folder, and they will display in the page vertically.

- Uploading a video file works like any other upload. However, you are often limited by a server max_upload setting of 2mb, unless it is higher for your server, or you can change it in php.ini. The only other workaround is to upload video files directly to a content folder by FTP.

- Downloading a video would be as simple as adding a link in the video description with the new html5 download attribute. You can also use dynamic variables, so technically you could add the description once:
Code
<a href="{path}{file_name_ext}" download>Download video!</a>

That's fantastic... So much to explore!

What do we do about licencing for clients vs personal use?
We had a few customers buy X2 directly, but no longer require assistance. Is there an affiliate system yet or planned reseller-type arrangement??

Cheers!

We already offer a "Commercial Consecutive License $50" (discounted from $150) on the purchase page, which is basically aimed at agents or resellers who already own a license. If the reseller/agent wishes to simply obtain the $100 difference, or require a higher fee in the first place, that would not really be any of our business. I imagine these alternative scenarios:

- An agent/reseller may require a much higher fee from the client. Just as an example, $500 (or even much more) to setup the website. Part of the fee would simply need to go to the $50 license.
- An agent/reseller may offer a price $150 to the customer, where they would take the $100 difference.
- An agent/reseller could of course pass through the discounted $50 price directly to customer, but this would not normally make sense from a pure business perspective.

As far as I can imagine, an affiliate system would only be useful if you are simply redirecting customers to our website, where they purchase X3 without any further participation by the reseller. In turn, that would require you to promote X3 from your website. I can't see this as a useful solution, but I may be wrong.

Perhaps a discount or Redeemer Code solution would be more useful than an affiliate system? For example, you could promote X3 without a discount code, for example "25% discount when you use this code". We would intercept the promo code, and for example offer 25% commission to the "reseller".

Thanks Karl. Yes, I just meant any system where unique links/banners are generated and some sort of commission structure exists.
I wasn't going into any specifics. At the end of the day it could be a hybrid of both, with no remote hosted, ...

I am confident there are a number of users / members / etc. here who would be more than happy to promote your product, be it with/without commission, etc. You could even have a system where people aren't interested in $, but after X number of referrals, you get top-tier product licence for X years. ;)
You're right though... So many options!
Ciao
