: Creating Thumbnails :

Well I Completely installed imagevuem but i am getting error with creating

thumbnails when i add some new pics ... if i want to create thumbs of my new

pic from admin panel then i got this error

i am getting this error again and again with every new pic i upload

even i changed my imagefolder permission to 777 but still getting same ..

means this options of creating thumnails is not working is there any bug with this options of creating thumnails ?

Does your server support GD2? This is needed to create the thumbnails: https://www.photo.gallery/imagevue/requirements

I Am using this


Fedora Core 6
Apache httpd version httpd-2.2.3-5
Php verson php-5.1.6-3.4.fc6
GD version gd-2.0.33-9.3.fc6


But getting Same ?

Can you provide a link to your gallery so we can check it out?

There may be several reasons, most likely permissions or GD2 related.

my site is not [Live] it is in LAN ( LOCAL AREA NETWORK) not for WAN

so now please, what i do because there is no any permission problems because i already give access to imagefolder to 777
Now ?

How many pictures do you have in your entire gallery. Have you checked the file names of them, try to make them simple no symbolic characters such as & or other things like that. Normally thsoe thumbnails would not be created and it's like the most common error people are going to get.

Unless you can post your site, I cant really diagnose properly. Most likely the issue is in the following list:

#1 Make sure your server has GD2 extension (It might not be enabled even thoguh its listed).

#2 Make sure image folder permissions are set correctly.

#3 Make sure the new file name does not have special characters.
