Hi
Im a little bit beside myself. Last Year i was moderating the old imagevue.fla (1.6 i think with flash MX)and it works fine. Now i want to update my moderated imagevue.fla and it doesnt works.
I am still using flash 8 pro like it is written in the readme.txt. But how do i have to set the publish settings in flash?
For the Test I have just loaded the latest version of imagevue.fla in my flash pro and hit publish. Then i was updating the new imagevue.swf on the webspace.
And this is the result:
http://www.messnik.at/test/
Background is gone
Thumbnails are not working anymore
The Men༠is not working
...
Whats going on?
Please help me

Hi
Sorry for the late reply. When it comes to source files, its tricky for anyone to answer successfully based on the lack of details.
Without any further information on what is changed in the sourcefiles, I cant really make any wild guesses. If you provide me with FTP password, I will check it out and upload an instance of Imagevue.swf which I have exported from here.
Are you sure you are using the latest Imagevue FLA file? Do you have any code in your custom background.swf?
No changing

What information do you need?
I just open the LAST imagevue.fla in flash8pro.
I do not change anything also not in the background.
I just publish the imagevue.fla to an imagevue.swf.
Upload the new imagevue.swf to the webserver.
You can see the result in
http://www.messnik.at/test
How should i publish with flash?
Thank you

You need to export as Flash player 7 AS1. Those settings are default in the FLA file though, so unless you have changed them on export, there should be nothing wrong.
If the above does not fix it, then I will need FTP. ALL galleries come from that FLA file, including our demo gallery at
www.photo.gallery/imagevue/ - Thats me publishing the SWF file from FLA.
I solve the problem!

Thank good i have the awnser!
I did just open the imagevue.fla in flash8pro.
That means i had only the imagevue.fla in an empty folder.
Now i was copying the whole upload files in an empty folder and open the existing imagevue.fla from this place.
And it works.
You need to open and compile the imagevue.fla in a folder including .as files.
That was the problem.
Thank you
