image does not upload correctly

I have got the gallery up and running, but when I try to go into the admin section, upload an image and then go back to the gallery page to view it, it seems to create a thumbnail on the image link, but when you click the link it doesnt generate the large sized image. any ideas of what can cause this? is there some other file other than the image folders that I need to chmod 777 that I may have overlooked?

it seems to upload the images to the image folders on the server, it creates a thumbnail image as well. but it just doesnt want to load the image in the flash gallery.. is there anything I can check for this? please help.

Which version are you using?
Firstly, it doesn't automatically create thumbnails when you first upload. There should be a button that says "Create Thumbnails" in the admin panel. If you dont' create a thunmbnail for these, then imagevue has no choice but to use the only available picture aka, your original pictures as Thumbnails just scaled down.
Have you tried changing the CHMOD 777 for not only the images folder, but the images themselves as well. That might fix your problem.
