If i was looking the xplicid page i was also thinking about it.
But after 5 minutes i would say that you can make the same effect with a few simple settings.
I think you have to turn off all feautures of imagevue like menu, controlButtons and so on.
Then make a Backgroundimage with the 5 Menubuttons in Pixelfont and the little arrow animation on the left by your own. Place your new menu exacly under the imagevue area and link these buttons to a simple picture from your content folder. The Text inside the picture is a simple description of the picture. You can edit the look and the position of this description in your slideshowimagevueconfig.ini
