App ran great right "out of the box", now to start customizing! I tried to make a description for an image thru the admin panel but am having trouble saving it. I'm assuming that once the description is saved it will appear in the box to the right of the thumbnail of the image selected. Even though I clicked "Save Data" the description does not show up. I chmoded the folders "content/Paintings/Acrylics" to 777 but it doesn't seem to make any difference. Also unable to create thumbnails in the folder "Acrylics" (image files location) via admin. Anyone know where I'm going wrong? Not a lot of documentation so any forum help would be appreciated.

Did you already write a few descriptions then?

In the configuration file slideshowimagevueconfig.ini (http://www.ellisartworks.com/gallery1/s ... config.ini) set the following:

displaydescription = true

Thanks Karl, it's a great effect. Looks like I'll be studying these ini files more closely.

Can I assume that the .swf files can be edited with some version of Macromedia Flash? If so what version would be required?
