Why can't you create folders via admin panel

Why can't you create image folders via the admin panel? That just doesn't make sense to me, I have to login via FTP to create folders? I'm setting up a site for my girlfriend so she can upload photos with her new digital camera I got her for xmas, having her login via FTP to create new image folders is a little out of her league. I figured they would have added that feature by now? I've been using imagevue since 1.4, or am I missing something here?

It will be possible to make directories in admin in a new version (next year).

When is considered next year, like one full year from now or sometime in 2007? I would prefer to not write any extra webpages or code to allow for this operation, so I would like to know what the waiting time would be.

Thanks.

Functionality = more users

I'm really looking forward to this to be implemented; it makes imagevuex much easier for inexperienced users to use, because no FTP/CHMOD skills are required.

Often I am in a situation where people ask of me what on-line gallery is the best at the moment, but I don't always direct them to Imagevuex Gallery although I love it, simply because i know their technical skills don't match the level that is required to experience 100% functionality from the gallery.

So please make "Folder creation, deletion and rename/arranging" available from the Admin module, so that more people can enjoy this genius gallery.

I agree ---

One of the most fundamental changes will be full gallery management by admin.
