One can finally find THE MOST WANTED new feature of Imagevue
Create multiple users with unique passwords restricted to specified folders
Untill now I am using LinPha for my photo album. Not that it looks so good but just because of it supports multible album, users, usergroups and foldernames to give people access to the various photo albums I published on the web.
However it looks like this announced feature only refers to the ability to limit user access the various folders from admin persperctive.
Could you either please explain how I can limit the access to different albums depending on different user names or .......... develop that functionality as fast as possible. I want an ImageVue photo album as well.

I don't see why that needs a poll, there is a number of posts on this subject already. This gonna be implemented in next version, but only semi-protection will be available.

This is mentioned as a feature for the admin, so it is only for the admin. As for password protection of certain folders for the gallery itself, this is a something that will be integrated next year in a new release. Please read this post: viewtopic.php?t=527

This is something I would really like. ImageVue looks so cool, but I can't really use it effectively today because of the many different albums I have with different user groups an various users that are a member of various subsets of these groups.
Anyway really great that ImageVue is going to get is. Do you already have a next release date in mind?
