Imagevue on a Windows server

13 Oct 2009, 17:37

I have had a website on a windows server for some time and now I would like to use Imagevue as my website. My host has php installed and is trying to get GD2 working.
We downloaded the test.zip and ran it from the server. When i go to that folder on my site I get two options, "GDtest" and "Phpinfo" and when I click on them, nothing happens. I have tried your"example test" and see that I should get confirmation that things are working.
Does anyone have any ideas what could be going on?
Thanks,
Nathan

You're runnig the test from v1, which is outdated by now.
Check this one:

the result should look like this:

Thanks Nick,
That worked much better. It looks like everything is working, except email and Exif. Its a start!
Do you have any suggestions on the email that I can pass along to my host?
thanks again!

Did they enable EXIF extension for PHP? That is required to use EXIF data. What error are you getting on emailing? Maybe local emailer simply is not enabled on your server ...

The EXIF extension is not yet enabled, but I don't plan on using the EXIF function.
The email error I get is just in the test script, i enter my email address and hit "send" and I get a red circle and with an "X" to the left of the email line in the script.
Is there something that needs to be enabled on the server for this to work?

Yes, look like you have php email disabled. Ask you hosting provider about this.
