I have seen this website very well customized and like to know how can I customize the start page to show the image but without the menu:

Also, the startpage is in fact a gallery installation also, set up with s single page that chooses gallery. In your case, if you just want a startpage that goes to the gallery after clicking, I would suggest and easier solution:
Just make your own index.html startpage with whatever image/text you want there. Then just make the click go to your gallery at index.php.
