link from a filemod folder into one with content

15 Apr 2009, 16:08

Using the newest version of imagevue (upgrading from the older one now)

I am having problems finding a way to greet visitors with a filemod folder page with just one image with photoblind's effect (let's say - a welcome graphic and a call to action to enter the gallery) and then by clicking on that image taking them to the portfolio folder with all the content. is that possible without having to use the menu.

If using a regular text page - i loose the effect of photoblinds which i like, but it's something i can probably live with for now i am having an issue removing the title of the page - is there any way to hide it from the page as well as from the menu - i just want it to show up once, when users enter the website and never again until the default url is entered again.

thank you,

here's the test page...

i want this image to take you to the portfolio section when you click it. is that possible? is there any way to take off the word "welcome" from the top of the image in that page as well as take this page out of the menu but still have it pop when people come to the site as the first page?

for those of you who are still wondering, everything is described here

https://www.photo.gallery/v2docs/articles/filemod/

i was a bit confused how to pass more than one parameter, turned out it was an "&" character that separates them...

works like i wanted... just curious now how to have this page show up on load of the site but be excluded from the menu... will post if i find something.

thank you,

Hehe, sorry for delay, but I'm glad you got it resolved in the end anyway.
