Since menu is directory related, to sort items you need to rename folders on ftp:

1_first
2_second
9_last

Something like this, titles will stay custom though. This will affect urls only.

I have tried numbering my folders in the FTP however the numbers now appears on the front-end... i.e 1_Special Occassions etc? Please help?

If titles not set manually, filename is used.
After you renamed filenames on site, change Titles in Imagevue Admin.
