I want to get rid of the camera technical description that appears when I run my mouse over a picture in the gallery mode.

When I put my mouse on a picture, a big white rectangle appears, this rectangle shows technical info regarding to the camera that took that picture.
So my need is to get that big white rectangle to not be shown at all.

That is the default "text2" module which is set to work this way. It is set to display EXIF data on rollover. You can disable it by going to admin -> config -> image.text.text2.enabled ... UNcheck it!
