hello,
(related link)
http://www.radvision.com/radvision/gallery/mng.htm
i have a problem, i want to show on our company web site images with some text at the bottom of the image.
the images size is always 500x333 while the text size not always the same. the problem is that when i set the size of the flash object to 500x333 i can't see the text, when i set the size to somehting else, like 500x600 i can see the text but there is white space at the top of the image, that is very ugly.
i understood that this behaviar is due to the flash always set the image in the middle, how can i chnage this ? can't find it in the settings. let's say i want to set that the image will be alwasy at the top left, this will solve my problem.
btw, i have the same problem with the imagevue, i want to show the image and the controls and the description to the right size of the image, when i try this i see the big white space to the left of the image with the same size of the controls and description that are to the left, again because the image is set always to middle.
thanks.

There is a new setting in the slideshow called boxstage which will most likely solve your issue. However, it seems that you are using the previous release of the slideshow beta 0.9.
Before I describe how to use the boxstage setting, I will need you to upgrade to the latest slideshow version.

Hi Karl,
Thanks for the fast reply.
well that's my problem number one

i am using the latest version 1.7 (you can find the file named slideshow.swf in the same folder on my server) but when i used the same ini file i see black background for the images and some strange tooltip when you point on the image.
http://www.radvision.com/radvision/gallery/mng2.htm (with the latest version and the same ini file)
it's took me a few hours today to check for all the setting to find where it come from !!! but i gave up and found that you're using some other version of slideshow on your site, and when i used your slideshownew.swf file it worked just fine, well almost exept the problem in my first post.
what are the setting for my both issues ? thanks.

problem is, you are using an old configuration file also (management.ini) ... I need to see no mixmatch of versions. All the settings you want can be moderated with the new version also, dont worry about that.

Latest download is under downloads section:
www.photo.gallery/downloads/
I thought you allready had the latest version of the slideshow? Strictly speaking, you dont need to delete your management.ini, but you need to make sure it has settings from the latest configuration settings, and you will only find them in the latest slideshow config files... Without having the boxstage setting, you simply cant set it ....
Documentation is here
www.photo.gallery/support/docs/ and I was going to help you out with this issue, but only when you got the necessary files there, or else I cant.

Nice integration you have made there, and I see you figured out the
boxstage settings by yourself!
Regarding the imagesorting, Im not sure how you want it. I checked these two links:
http://www.radvision.com/radvision/gall ... sorting=dd
http://www.radvision.com/radvision/gall ... sorting=da
...and they sort the images opposite to eachother, as they are sorted on server.
Perhaps you can explain to me how you want them sorted? I see you have given them names "1...", "2...", etc. Wouldnt it be natural to display them in that order?
I might suggest that you also set the following:
imageselecttooltiptext = false
As link here:
http://www.radvision.com/radvision/gall ... text=false
As you can see on your main page, when rolling over the selectimage thumbnails, the image names are so long that they make the tooltip run outside the viewable area.

we need the order to be, ceo, cfo, cto etc...
so the only way to do it it's with dates, since i use the file name for the manager real name. but it's not working with the date, what i should do ?!
i tried to upload it via the admin / via ftp and even use small utility to chnage the file dates, but nothing working ;-(
p.s. ignore the 1,2,3... in the file name, i used them to get the right order of the managers since the date order not working. in perfect world i will remove those numbers.
thanks.
