Direct links to different galleries..?

Hey,
How would you go about if you wanted to direct users to different sub folders/galleries?
As in I have folder1 with images and folder2. I do not want to send user to main menu each time but would like to add direct links on pages direct to folder1, folder2 etc.
Sorry if that sounds confusing, not sure how to word it
any help would be appreciated.
