I've searched both the docs as well as the forum and cannot find my way. I've eyeballed every relevant (at least in my opinion) .ini file and cannot find where to change the path.

Can anyone lend a hand?

You can change the name of the upload folder with a ftp-program.
It has nothing to do with the .ini files.

You can even upload all the files + directories in the upload folder to the 'root' of your website, like http://www.website-name.com/

I had capitalized the 1st letter of my new "upload" folder. Yet whenever I entered the URL I used a lower case letter.

When will I ever learn....
