I setup my website last night and it went fairly smoothly. But for some reason, SOME of the thumbnails are not working, where others are.

I have 4 groupnames, and within those groups there is various "imagefoldernames" and they all display the correct file number count (how many pictures in each "imagefoldername" but for some reason a few out of the total don't display a single image

go to Animal --> Birds & Ducks to see a non functioning one, same with "Landscapes and The Outdoors --> California and Las Vegas"

All of the permissions for the content folder+all sub files/folders have been set properly.

Also the sections that are not working, the thumbnails have not been created by the script either. The file sizes are not large, they are the same as all the other ones because they have all been run through the same action in photoshop. The images are under 700KB (mostly in the 475-600kb range) with an example resolution of 546x812

just an update....

I tried creating my own thumbnails, 158x118 in dimension, and renamed them all tn_*original filename*.jpg

still having the same problem, no thumbnails are appearing for a few of the folders

This happens because you are using some "unsupported" characters in your foldernames. Primarily, the "&" character in "Birds & Ducks" - Please substitute it with "and".

same problem with one folder not getting the thumbnails created despite having the proper permissions. I don't think I'm using illegal characters either was seemed to be the problem of the previous poster.

any other ideas that may be preventing thumbs from being generated?

all the other folders seem to work fine and generated the thumbnails automatically.

You have Imagevue x2 version, your bug is something different, lets sort it out in other topic.
