Descriptions?

Im having quite a bit of trouble adding descriptions to make it look like this:

I looked all over the documentation and can't seem to find anything.
Please help!

Generally, you could just the related settings as provided in the URL of that link:
Code
descriptions=startopen
thumbopenwin=false
Set that in your config.ini, and you should have descriptions similar as in the example link. If you are still having trouble, please post a link.

That link is using the "gardener" template which should be in your templates folder. See here: https://www.photo.gallery/imagevue/templates/

Also soo here "how to use templates": https://www.photo.gallery/support/templates/

Generally, you could try to simply append that parameter to your link:
"...&configfile=templates/gardener/slideshowconfig.ini"

that would be:

displayposition = right
Ità¦s in your slideshowimagevueconfig.ini, and is grouped with several other settings related to the description which you may want to change.

I recon we can't use it with slideshow.php alone, can we?

sorry to thread jack, what is the default string for the descriptions area? Also when in admin I try to add descriptions and it says Error: Can't create file

Any help please!? :)

probably because you are in "guest access" and not in "admin access"!

if you are in Admin access, it will be necessary to check the right in your FTP.

I had this problem and I was in guest access.
