Greetings... I'm trying to use ImagevueX on the free Web hosting site, WebNG, but when I try to view any pages, I get a message that says,

"Directory Listing Denied
This Virtual Directory does not allow contents to be listed."

does anyone use WebNG as their host, and any idea how to work around this message? I also am unable to connect to this server via FTP with Fetch, and I'm working on a Mac.

Sounds to me like the server is not set to read "index.php" as folder index files. It may also be possible the server does not support PHP at all ..

Even if you get past this, you may discover Imagevue is still not working because it is a free web server. Unfortunately, free servers more than often add 'commercials' to all web pages including the Imagevue scripts. These small commercial snippets corrupt the XML in Imagevue so it does not work.

I am not saying it definitely will not work, but don't be surprised if there are further issues.
