displaying panoramic pictures in mov or js

I guess your question may have 2 answers. There is nothing preventing you from showing panoramic style photos in imagevue with the standard slideshow module which displays any size. However, it will not create any 'scrolling' effect like you have in the QT panoramic viewer. It will display them 'undisturbed' at their original size and aspect.
I think in a future version you can expect there will be an option for scrolling panoramas, and also an option for opening 'unsupported' filetypes in new windows.
