First time: what do I need other than ImagevueX files?

Hi, maybe I was to silly to get it at first glance but now I think I should have something more on either my client or my website other than Upload files. I mean:

1. I dunno how to link my gallery to the homepage

2. do I need PHP installed somewhere? If yes, where?

3.How do I integrate ImagevueX with my website? Say, from the homepage to the gallery...

4. Do I need something more?

Sorry for silly questions but, you know, first times are always silly :-)

Thank you,

Jamal

Sorryf or the late reply, but if these questions still remain unanswered to you:

1. If you uplaoded the "upload" folder to the root of your site, the link to your gallery would be "www.yoursite.com/upload". I suggest you rename the "upload" folder on your site to "gallery". The link to your gallery would then be "www.yoursite.com/gallery/". This would be the link you would have to add to your homepage.

2. PHP needs to be installed on your server, but this is not something you do. Only the server admin can install PHP - Perhaps you can contact your server service provider and ask them? You could also give a link to your page/gallery and we could easily see if PHP is installed.

3. I guess #1 answers this question.

4. As long as you have space on a webserver that supports PHP, you do not need anything else(except a bunch of images to upload of course). You will also need to know how to use FTP so you can upload the program and photos into folders.
