Is there a way to put the admin password encrypted in the password.php file?
Right now you have to write it clearly.

I just wanna know if there's a way to increase security here.

Thanks :lol:

Actually under normal circumstances you wont see the file's content from www. Basically if you want i can help you with some encoding but not sure you really want it. If you that worried - just move it outiside of www_root and include from there like
Code
include ("/home/mydir/secretfiles/passwords.php");
should be secure enough.

The include line is to be written in the checkpass.php right?

As alternative,

My website provider enables me to pass protect various directories on my site. That way, you simply cannot access any files (ie Admin directory) without this passkey.

It's another step, but it seems to do the trick as well.

Also you can just delete /admin folder after you have everything settled down.
