When looking at an image in popupmode, I have activated description (as tooltip) on mouse rollover. It worked fine when I have a description but when I don't have any description then it aperies a empty tooltip window.
It works fine in thumbnail mode, only problem in popup mode.
Any idea what i done wrong?

Very sorry for the late reply, but here is some information on the subject atleast:
What value do you have for the "thumbpopinfo" setting? I think a certain combination there might create a glitch like in your case.

In config.ini
thumbpopinfo = 0,0,0,0,0,1

The setting works fine on our gallery:
https://www.photo.gallery/imagevue/?thum ... ,0,0,0,0,1
Click any folder in the gallery, and you will see it does not display any empty tooltip box. Then browse to the folder "Mother Earth" -> "Earth Animals", and you will see it loads and displays descriptions on thumbnail rollover.
I think perhaps you might have empty values in your descriptions ... Perhaps you have created descriptions, and later on deleted the description. This may possibly leave a blank space in the description. This would lead Imagevue to believe it is supposed to display the blank space. Try opening your descr.txt file in your appropriate gallery folder where descriptions are stored. Delete blank entries(Eg. entries with an image name and empty space behind).
Im not sure I would recommend using the descriptions on thumbnails because it is not bulletproof I must admit. The problem is when rolling over thumbnails, it has to make a call to the server every time to get the description, and then on rollout, it has to cancel the call.

I'm thinking about buying imagevuex for my own website.
But for me it's important that there is a discription on the photo's, not on the thumbnails. When people click the first photo in an album and they use the arrow (right) for the next picture there are unable to see the discription right ? Do I have a other option to show the discriptions on the photo's ?

This topic is originally about having descriptions display on thumbnail rollovers, which is slightly tricky. Displaying description beside(or on) the full size image should work fine. See an example by

What are you trying to achieve? Do you want to remove the entire tooltip for thumbnails? Perhaps you have a link?
