Blocking image downloads?

15 Jul 2007, 16:56

Hello!!

I've just purchased a copy of imagevue a few days ago, it's a fantastic piece of software!! :D

The only thing is I have a problem - I want to block my photos being downloaded. No rightclick downloads, no download option in the little bar at the bottom of the gallery, no pop-ups and no images opening in a new window.

I have read all of the documentations, read through the forum and also gone though each file to find what I am doing wrong, because whatever I have tried to change according to the documentation, nothing seems to block the downloads - so I am definately doing something wrong!

Please can you help me? What files do I need to change? And what is the exact things I need to do to block the download features?

Sorry for having to ask!!

Anyway, thanks in advance for your help!!!!

Block Popup

17 Jul 2007, 05:49

Hi Elisse,

Good thing u reached to solve by urself ur problem. You need to modify the "navigation" parameters in the config.ini configuration file.

But if i can suggest u something more : don't forget to change to false the shiftimageclicklink and the shiftthumbclicklink values.

Other thing : U can delete the slideshowimagevueconfig and slideshowpopupconfig values lines in the config.ini configuration file (or put some ";" at the first char to ignore them). In this case u don't need to upload or/and modifie thoses files.

Try to just define the configfile value to slideshowconfig.ini (configfile = slideshowconfig.ini )

Good luck
