Loading gallery to a specific imagefolder in an html page???

I've embedded my imagevue gallery into my HTML page. I know you can create an html link that loads a specific imagefolder in the gallery, but it doesn't keep the background or the menu I have created.

So what I want to know is, if it is possible to have the gallery start up on another HTML page with a specific imagefolder, so that I can set an HTML link to it??????? If so, how???

Thank you for any help you can provide!

Still working on this. So I'm thinking the way to do this is to use a unique config.ini for each imagefolder, that way I can keep my html template and nav bar and link to different imagefolders. But can I even link to a specific config.ini with HTML, or with PHP, or as a Flash website? This basically seems like a workaround to control the gallery with out using the sitemenu. HELP!

You can open a specific folder with the function folder.
More info about it: https://www.photo.gallery/support/docs/117

With this function you can open a specific folder in a frame, for example.

Yes, I know about the function folder. I've tried that with an html link pointing to the image folder, BUT it turns the whole browser page into the imagevue gallery and I lose my HTML background and menu links. I want to be able to switch image folders through a HTML link (not the sitemenu) and still keep the same HTML page.

I considered making a specific HTML page for each config.ini and imagefolder. Let me know if this makes sense and if you need more info. Thanks.

So maybe there is an easier way to do control the gallery through an html link but I never found it. What I did do was make a copy of the "upload" folder and all its contents for each individual group of images I wanted a direct link to, and then copied it to the server. Doing this you can set an html link through the config to open that direct imagefolder. This also requires a specific html page linking to that folder. Doing this I have control of which gallery gets seen from outside imagevue.

This would only be possible by frames ... Elsewise, just like anything else clicked by html, the page needs to be reloaded(unless its ajax, which it is not).

It would be possible by javascript, but we only have javascript support for the sldieshow module as for controlling it from outside the SWF.

I am interseted too....

I am interested to customize the FOLDER option. What I have to write in the ini file ? What do you mean with URL ?

Actually, of course, the option is = false

I have to write: /content/imagefolder/ or the entire URL from http://www.mysite.it/upload etc etc ?

Moreover, an additional info. Is it possible set up Imageve to show always the latest uploaded directory, automatically ?

Thanks for any reply .

I apologize for my raw English.
