Imagevue thumbs disappearing

After viewing galleries/images for a minute or two all seems normal. Then when I click on the "close" button next to an image I'm taken back to a seemingly blank page. Imagevue is not visible but I can still click on thumbnails and the popup with the image name shows and changes as I pass the coursor over the thumbnail image area. I can still click the thumbnail link and go to and see the image, but when I click the close button I get the blank page thing again. Anybody have any idea what is causing this to happen?

I tested your gallery with IE6 and Firefox2. Everything works fine over here.

Thanks for taking a look...It does make me feel better to know that the galleries are behaving properly on someone else's computer. I loaded the site using Firefox2 and the first image that came up when clicking on a thumb was a pic of a dolphin! This happened three or four times, different images from the testimagefolder kept popping up and then quit and everything was normal. How can I make sure that the script doesn't try to read from that folder?

Thanks again for looking!

Nice paintings you have!

I can't find any flaw with your gallery. Atleast it works fine from here ... The dolphin is an image that exists in the default testfolder when you have not defined your own images. Lets hope it was something related to caching.

Btw.: I see you are using a single level of folder - You might want to consider using the singlelevel setting as in this example: http://www.ellisartworks.com/imagevuear ... level=true (check the main menu)

Karl,
The paintings are done by my wife (I couldn't draw a straight line to save my life). She appreciates the compliment and sends her thanks...

The appearance of the dolphin and other images only appeared the first time I checked the gallery with Firefox 2.0. This hasn't happend again with any browser.

Thanks for the tip on the singlelevel=true attribute. I changed it and the main menu is indeed more elegant that way and of course a useless click is done away with.

This is a great forum...I've found answers to most of my questions and the ones I couldn't find have been answered very quickly by those who know the answer and who actually seem to care about this product!

Thanks again

Glad you fixed your issue, and again - compliments to your wives paintings. Please post your gallery at our site www.photogallerylinks.com - I would like to set it as a featured gallery.
