Is it possible to make the start image dynamic, so I can have more than one picture showing ?

i think that the solution is in the config.ini
startimage = slideshow.swf

You call the slideshow.swf who is at the root.

All jpg who are next will be showed.

You have to assign the show.swf to run in the startimage parameter in config.ini. Something like this: More information here: https://www.photo.gallery/support/docs/186

Important! The show.swf should not be confused with the slideshow module (slideshow.swf). The show.swf is a simple cut down module which simply fades between images, and is intended for using as the startimage.
