Can somebody pls explain how i can rotate images automatically in portrait or landscape style.
I now have images shot in portrait style and they show up in imagevuex 17 as landscape style.
When i look at this pictures in Windows with the Windows viewer the portrait pictures are indeed showed as landscape style but when i look the same pictures in Iranview then they show up right (portrait). And i know this is an option (reading EXIF info) in Iranview but is this also possible in Imagevuex?
Thanks in advance.

Im afraid Imagevue does not use EXIF data to rotate images. Imagevue uses the physical orientation of the image. You will have to rotate your image prior to upload.

Thank you Karl for your answer.
I understand that i have to manually rotate my images before uploading.
Can i ask for this to become a feature in the next version of Imagevuex?
There are a few programs (for ex Irfanview) that use the EXIF info to rotate the images automatically so why not imagevuex or is it more difficult then i think it is?
I noticed that my pictures where not rotated correct when my images were on my site. My program to check the pictures (before uploading) used to option from EXIF to rotate them automatically. So i had to manually rotate them and that's why i ask for this option.
Physical orientation of the image sometime means that you still have to rotate them manually while i can be done automatically

Its certainly gonna be something to look into once we do some EXIF/metadata integration. Rotation is a little tricky though ... When rotating an image, it actually retains its original orientation in the EXIF data. Even when using flickr, after I have already rotated a JPG in a lossless operation based on EXIF, flickr uses the original EXIF orientation and I have to rotate again from the flickr administration interface.
