file and folder formats on content

im asking if file and folder format use in the content includes space, dot, group of words. like this: heaven 2000.jpg or sky-1.jpg and on folders name: a. pictures or glen - shots
is that ok file and folder formats for imagevue gallery?

I think the examples you show will work. You could always try and see.
I ended a folder name with "..." once and I couldn't put a description on the folder with the admin module. I took off the "..." and it worked fine. Even with the "..." the folder worked for the slideshow, it was just the description that wouldn't work.

I have to admit that using special characters in filenames and foldernames is a little bit tricky overall.
The following characters I can confirm should be avoided: "&,.'"
Im sure there are many other characters also ...
