please help!! images load slow ( thumbs and full size)

guys, can someone assist on this problem. i have not found anything similar in the forums and it really annoying me. ok, i set all my image folders to 777. i have certainly created thumbs for all images but when you go to my gallery, the images load kind of slow. the thumbs load slow and the full images really load slow. i saw another website that uses imagevue and their pics load ultra fast. if you choose a galler, the whole set of thums for each row load soooo fast. mine is soooo slow. i was able to download some of their full size images and they are the same size (and smaller) as mine. I actually saw a 3rd site and the same thing, images load nice and quick but mine kind of drag. im using a great server company. is there any specific settings in maybe the config file or something that can speed things up? just so you know im using an older version of imagevue if that makes a difference. is there anything i should know? i cant figure out why all the example sites load so quick and mine are slow. what i also did was uploaded imagevue to another server and the same thing, they are slow. if the image sizes are the same and smaller than the other sites iv seen, why is mine so slow? are the inital settings in imagevue need to be adjusted or something? this is my config file:

this is a link to a page that links right to my gallery. i didnt put my gallery link directly here becuase i hate when my domain name gets indexed by search engines and then people see problems that i have when the google my domain name my problem in this forum will show as one of the search results. then everyone sees what issues im having.. go to this link, it will get you right to my gallery. the gallery just seems to be a bit slow. i called my hosting company and they said im am running super fast on the servers and said its the imagevue software that is the issue.

the link is: http://www.dancaruso.com/gallerylink.html

Yes, you gallery is a little bit slow.
I see that you are using an old version of Imagevue. Maybe an update will help?

yeah, perhaps. that was my question. do you think an updated version will make it faster? Also, the problem is that a long time ago, this program was purchased for me by an old co-worker who i do not have contact with for years. how can i update it? does the whole package have to be updated or just a certain file? how can i getthe updated file, can someone email it to me? it would be appreciated becuase the person that bought it for me set it all up on my server and he moved. havent seen him in years.

any help would be great. my email address is availble if someone can help me. maybe its just a simple file udate that one of you guys have?

I might not be on a very fast connection here, but your gallery didnt seem too slow to me.

If you want to update, please provide e-mail or name of original purchase.
