Flash integration: movie taking all the space.

19 Feb 2008, 05:42

Hi, I embedded the gallery into a flash site by loading the imagevue.swf and global path like this:
Code
Stage.scaleMode="noScale";
loadMovie("upload/imagevue.swf?globalpath=upload/", "gallery1");
I have to big troubles:
1. The gallery is taking more space than the mc I created affecting all the flash site and I dont know how to keep it inside the clip. you can go to http://webdesign.gtanime.com and press on the "graphic" link

2. I want to have direct path to this location: upload/imagevue.swf?folder=content/Graphic/Art/
but everytime I tried that link is saying "input" on the screen.

Please help, this is the portfolio gallery of my website and I have an interview tomorrow!

I bought this gallery... I guess a little bit of support will help me a lot.

Sorry for the late reply -

1. I checked that link, and can't seem to load the gallery by clicking the "graphic" link. Perhaps you temporarily removed it or are working on it?

2. Perhaps more important, I can't seem to get your gallery working at all standalone. It is supposed to be here? http://webdesign.gtanime.com/upload/

There seems to be some missing files or perhaps some corrupt files in there somewhere. Also, in your config.ini, you should keep "globalpath=false" as default. This setting you are correctly overriding when loading the gallery into your swf, but should not be set to false as default. Did the gallery work after you first uploaded it? Perhaps you can put the original config file there temporarily to see if it has any effect? I could also look into it personally, if you want to provide me FTP access in PM.
