Slideshow stops on some photos...

19 Dec 2007, 19:26

Hi y'all !
I just discovered today a strange behaviour of the slideshow in my gallery.
I noticed that it stops on some photos and there's no way to get the next or previous image. All transitions buttons are un efficients.
The same occurs when i run the "play" mode of the slideshow... It stops on the same photos.

I try to re-upload them but with no succes.

I really didnt notice that before. I replaced some shots in larger size but i'm not sure it comes from this as some photo at the same size dont block anything...

I hope someone had the same issue and could help me to sort it out...

Gallery is nz-photo.com you can see the problem in the menu "black and white" --> "portraits : the 1st shot (named 1. Natural) blocks the slideshow.
and there's an issue in almost all parts of the gallery on various photos !

Thanks in advance.

Nico.

That's weird ...

Perhaps you can do the following: Rename the image you mention from "1. Natural.jpg" to "natural.jpg". I doubt this is the reason, but I just want to exclude the possibility.

You are using the template "templates/softwhite/config.ini" - Can you upload a few of the other templates also? This will not interfere with your current template in any way. I want to check if there may be an 'unfortunate' combo in your current configuration by checking the other default templates.

Get back to me when you have updated!

Hey Karl !!
Thanks for passing by.

I just made a test, after reading your answer and suggestions, and i replace the original slideshowimagevueconfig.ini in my online site and...
It works fine again.

So i think it def. comes from a modification i made in this one...
Now i've to find which one causes this error :lol:

If i cant find it i'll post you the code here so you could have a quick look...

Ok i got it...
While i made tests yesterday, i leave in the transition datas the line :

transition = true

instead of

transition = fade

Now everything's allright .

Thanks Karl !
