Maybe some questions have been already asked and answered in other topics. Just put the reference link if there is any.
Issue 1) User Access Control
I understand there is (by far) no any control on the whole gallery or particular albums. To me, it is ok, I can create in MySQL to store the number of user group and each user group has its access key. In the first page, my FLA will take the user input of the access key. Accoring to what user input, differnt key frame / particular FLA will be redirected to. The directed frame or FLA will likely be the differnt Galleries by using Imagevuex
Since I might use differnt galleries (let say G1 and G2).
Under G1, only Album 1 and Album 2 can be shown (let say A1 and A2).
Under G2, only Album 3 and Album 4 can be shown (let say A3 and A4).
I think Imagevuex can handle it.
Question 1a>
However, right now Album 5 is created (let say A5) and I want A5 can be showm under both G1 and G2.
Is it possible?
What I mean is both G1 and G2 is taking the pics from same phyical location of A5, not duplicate the content of A5 and put one copy under G1 and put another one under G2.
ideal:
G1\
>A5
G2/
not like:
G1->A5
G2->A5
Issue 2) Pictures in Thumb, Slideshow, and Original Size in differnt servers?
I understand there are total 3 presentations of each picture. Thumb, Slideshow, and Original Size should all be contained. As far as I read from the forum, the thumbs will be automatically created during the first time its album is loaded.
Question 2a>
The thumb pictures are stored on the same location as Imagevuex.swf?
I assume the Slideshow pictures need to be resized DIY (assume the original size is 2000 * 1600) to something like 640 * 480.

Since I will put the Imagevuex galleries on web-hosting but it is not providing unlimited space. What I want is to keep Thumb and Slideshow pictures in web-hosting but original size pictures in my home NAS.
Question 2c>
Is it possible to keep the Slideshow and Original Size pictures in differnt locations?
Issue 3) Album Title Display sequence.
I tried the deom of Imagevuex, once I click, 3 albums will be dropped down and I can select.
Question 3a> What is the sequence order to show the albums? Alphabetic or date or Can I tailor make?
Question 3b> If the are many albums, the drop down list will be ended with some arrow scroll and still allow me to select the rest of album? or it will just dropped to the outside of screen?
Issue 4) Language Compatibility.
Question 4a> Can it support Traditional Chinese Big-5 characters for the album name and the picture description?
Issue 5> Dev. and Personal Version.
Question 5a> What is the major differneces?
Question 5b> Assume the issue I listed above cannot be peformed under current Imagevuex, am I able to make it happen by using Dev. version?
