Help Please

06 May 2007, 22:21

Hey Everyone;

I have a movie clip and I need to import an swf into it. I have followed the steps and successfully got it working. But there is one minor glitch. When I click an image the gallery moves around. I have downloaded the latest version available and it still happens. Can someone please help me. Here is the test site which I'm working on:

www.mattsfolio.com/jamiewhite/ and click on the portfolio link.

Thanks In Advance;

It seems the gallery is not aligned to the center.
And the backimage looks like it is too small.

The rest is working fine, and it looks very well.

I am not sure how you are loading imagevue into the top left. Are you simply loading it into an empty movieclip at coordinates 0,0?

The thing with the slideshow is that it will center compared to the entire SWF stage, and I can see its doing just that. If you want to 'contain' it inside a certain area, try using the boxstage parameter and set it to your virtual limited stage. Ex.:
Code
boxstage = 500,400
The values represent width, height. This would be in your slideshowimagevueconfig.ini I think.

A few more questions

21 May 2007, 00:35

Hey;

This has been a great help, the slideshow is working great. There is just a few more things I need to wrap up here. How do I centre that 1st box, the one that has the startimage.jpg and the 2nd one with the thumbnails. Lastly how do I change the '?' to the websites homepage and is it possible to have the '?' link back to a frame in the swf?

The gallery can be viewed at www.jamiewhiteconstructions.com.au/site/
Then go under the portfolio page. Thanks.

Regards;

Matthew

I can't see your image gallery. All I see when I load that link is a white rectangle swf stage, but there is nothing in it, just blank white.

I think the link you're trying to direct us to is:
Code

Hmm, when you implemented the slideshow onto your stage, did you center it to the stage (aka that big white space). That would be my suggestion if your editing your fla files get them to integrate into your current flash webpage.

About the "?" :
