Maybe someone of you can provide ftp login to your site to see what's going on closely?

Sorry, I kinda fell of the pony - What is the actual problem now?

Is it being able to write descriptions from admin, or is it actually displaying them?

My problem is that when I'm writing a description about a picture in the admin module, I can't save it cause when I click on the "save data" button, I just obtain this message: "error : You don't have the permission to save for this folder".
But I'm logged in admin ("*").

What is the problem?

I sent you by email my ftp access code and my admin interface access code if you want to try and have a better look of the problem.

Thank you,
JP

Thanks

Hi,

second peice of software i've bought frm you guys....great custom options, love it!

Having a real hard time understanding why i cant add descriptions to images, and i cant set the password on admin at all...basically you can type anyhting in the password box and it lets you in with no power to change anyhting, but htere's no username option to log in as administrator (should there be?)

HELP please....i really wanna fix this asap....
you can't change shit if you ride the fance.

That's probably because of the coding in your passwords.php file. You need to check that out and make sure its in top notch.

Simply open the folder called admin in your album directory and open the file passwords.php

The password file contents should look very similar to this:
Code
$data['guest'] = 'guest';
$data['admin'] = '*';
$data['admin_password_here'] = '*';
I've removed the ?php tags out of the code because the forum won't display them even when I surround it with code tags. I'll just assume that you have it there already, but your code between the php tags should be like such.

For more information you could visit:

https://www.photo.gallery/support/passwords/

If the problem is not solved after this, maybe you should try reuploading all your files or provide us with further info on the problem.[/code]

Hi There,
Maybe you guys can help me with this strange problem. I also uploaded IMAGEVUE 1.17.4 (subversion).

I changed the password in the password.php file. Then when I log into the Admin section I get the error: Incorrect Password, try again. Even when i use the "*" for the default password, I get the error message.

When I log in with the 'guest' password, then it works.

I also refreshed the browser and cleared the cache, nothing seems to help.

Does anybody seems to know what my problem could be?

Thank you
NavNak

Below is my password.php file
Code
$data['guest'] = 'guest';
$data['admin_password_here'] = '10';

Your password is "admin_password_here"? You have a folder called "10"?

Do you have a link to your admin?
